Do I need to do anything to enable video tracking? add
Yes — but it’s a GA4 setting, not a TrueAna one. In your GA4 property, go to Admin → Data Streams → your web stream → Enhanced Measurement, and make sure ‘Video engagement’ is turned on. TrueAna Pro’s report then reads that data automatically.
Does video tracking work with autoplay videos? add
This follows GA4’s own Enhanced Measurement behaviour, including browser autoplay-policy limitations — Google’s own documentation is the best source for exact autoplay handling.
What about Vimeo or self-hosted videos? add
TrueAna’s report can display Vimeo and self-hosted video rows if your GA4 property is already receiving that data (for example via a custom Tag Manager setup), but TrueAna doesn’t add Vimeo or self-hosted tracking itself. Out of the box, coverage is YouTube via GA4’s native Enhanced Measurement.
Why is my completion rate very low (below 10%)? add
Very low completion rate typically means the video starts autoplaying but users dismiss it immediately, or the video is irrelevant to the page context.
